Dog Days of Summer
There I was...just running errands in my usual haunts, minding my own business, when I spied a brandnew and welcome sight: a hot dog cart. I was there in a heartbeat, wallet in hand.
They had a nice selection with the most unusual being a dog with philly cream cheese and BBQ sauce. I'm not too sure about that one. At any rate, I went for my old stand-by, the sauerkraut dog; and it did not disappoint.
How lovely to know that this cute little stand will be available to me all day every summer's weekend. I don't think just one dog will do it. I'll definitely be a return customer.

An American Hot Dog is on my to do list for sure. Although I have a friend who makes them with mustard, ketchup and . . mayonnaise? Ugh. He swears by it!
ReplyDeleteYum! I wouldn't be able to pass that by either!
ReplyDeleteI like 'em with mustard, relish, and onion! Yum Yum!
ReplyDeleteI like turkey dogs, but the bar-b-q and cream cheese sounds pretty good : )
ReplyDeleteI love all kinds of dogs. And what a charming little cart, too. Perfect treat for these dog days of summer!
ReplyDeleteYummy! Cute cart, too. :)
ReplyDeleteGoodness, your hotdog stands and contents look lovely compared with the greasy old things we get here in the UK, smelling like...well...dogs I'm afraid. Yours looks delicious and restores my faith in such culinary treats. Love your blog!
