Since this is the final week of winter, it seems very appropriate to pay homage to my favorite season: spring. I am eagerly awaiting the energetic burst of color, so easy on the eyes, that this season of renewal will bring to my drab and dormant garden, turning it into a palette filled with every color in the rainbow. I'm so ready.
April hath put the spirit of youth in everything.

See what else is happening at Theme Thursday.
Can't believe it still officially winter.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at 2 daffodils right now :)
What a gorgeous photo!
ReplyDeleteIt is remarkably warm here...if this is a tease, it is a cruel one! ha.
Great photo, my daffy's are not blooming yet, but soon.
ReplyDeleteI, too, love spring! I would love it more if not for allergies. But it makes me happy to see all the pretty flowers blooming.
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung?
ReplyDeleteYes, it has been rain all day today and hopefully all day Sunday too. We are so thankful for the rain but mindful that too much growth will be bad for the fire season which always comes before we know what hit us.
ReplyDeleteBut we are also lucky to have so much sun that our gardens have flowers all year round. I think my calla lilies bloom about 8 months out of the year and gardenias almost year round along with the baby roses. So in many ways I always forget that other areas have no flowers for a good part of each year. We are truly blessed with our mild winter climate. It is when it is over 100 degrees that the flowers die due to the heat, almost the opposite of everyone elses winter. Somehow I think I would like the cold just a tad bit better than our scorching heat.
Wishing you a happy Theme Thursday, thanks so much for playing with us.
Hope to see you again next week.
